Annodyne Partners with CareerPhilly to create the New WWW.CAREERPHILLY.COM, the Largest Internship Portal in the Region
Philadelphia, PA— October 4, 2004
Interactive Marketing Agency and Consultancy, Annodyne, announced today that they were selected by CareerPhilly, a division of Innovation Philadelphia and the Knowledge Industry Partnership, to create a unique online destination for students, employers and universities in the Greater Philadelphia region. Selected out of a number of agencies, Annodyne designed the internship portal with CareerPhilly to improve and further cultivate the student retention rate in the area.
According to CareerPhilly Vice President Kelly Lee, the site was developed with three top priorities in mind. “The goal is to entice students to stay in the region after graduation by offering them appealing internship and job opportunities, help employers find qualified candidates to fill their available positions and present universities with a destination that will allow them to help their students find what they are looking for in the job market.”
Annodyne developed the online resource to attract and
engage each of CareerPhilly’s three core audiences
with functionality specific and unique to fulfilling
each segment’s needs. Students not only have the
opportunity to upload their resume and search for available
positions, they can refine their search results through
customizable filters and save the results for repeated
use. Employers are able to post available internship
and job opportunities, search for available candidates
and monitor candidate interest and submissions within
the website. Universities can utilize the CareerPhilly
website as a development tool to assist students in
identifying and securing internship and job opportunities
that will ultimately help retain them in our region
after graduation.
“We were searching for a firm with the experience, skills, and the innovation online to help us create exactly what we were looking for, and Annodyne absolutely exceeded our expectations,” states Lee.
The site adds additional flexibility for CareerPhilly to assist in management and administration. A customized content management system allows the CareerPhilly staff to enhance and adjust outlined portions of the site. CareerPhilly can also utilize a unique reporting functionality to capture, track and analyze activity on the site that will help them ultimately determine their online achievements.
“One of the reasons behind our success in this industry is our determination to over-achieve for each client,” stated Anthony Campisi, president of Annodyne. “We realized how important this project was to Philadelphia and were committed to presenting CareerPhilly with a deliverable that accomplished their every goal.”
Visitors to www.careerphilly.com will also have the opportunity to access career development events and workshops taking place in the region; tips and advice on topics such as interviewing, networking and conducting a job search; and updates on news that impacts the regional economy and business community.
