200th Anniversary Microsite & Campaign
Objectives
The Pennsylvania Academy of the Fine Arts (PAFA) kicked off their 200th Anniversary with a grand black-tie gala and exclusive after-party. Annodyne was tasked with creating an integrated program that targeted a VIP audience, with the primary objectives of driving ticket sales to the after-party and attracting guests to become PAFA members through a high-energy microsite and promotional email campaigns.

Execution
A critical component to the success of any website, is ensuring that there is sufficient, qualified traffic. To achieve PAFA’s goal of selling tickets to the event and enticing people to sign up for a membership, Annodyne developed a strategy that attracted targeted visitors to a party microsite through a powerful direct-response oriented email, engaged them with advanced Flash animation and soundtrack, then led them down a predetermined path concluding with those two end objectives.

To further assist PAFA in achieving its goals, Annodyne agreed to facilitate introductions with other influential area organizations, to develop joint promotions and further extend their messaging. These included the Greater Philadelphia Chamber of Commerce, Innovation Philadelphia and the Philadelphia Area New Media Association (PANMA) – a division of the Eastern Technology Council.

PAFA’s Executive team was extremely pleased with the results of the program, and the event – contributing much of the success to the electronic promotions. The award that their microsite won was just icing on the cake, no pun intended.
